you sure "we" are lazy? look at technology/industry/society's rapid evolution. i think laziness exists in everyone, to an extent because our pleasures drive us, and laziness is glutton in certain ways. but not for everyone, i know some who can't just sit around and do nothing/not work. personally, i think laziness is hugely subjective.
also, my view is that there was no 'plan'. "something" made us - living beings - (ie. we didn't appear from nowhere), but it was pure chance that this (and probably other 'planets' too) had the perfect conditions to sustain life in, just as mould grows fast on a dead thing in certain conditions. not intentional.
God is a word and concept created by humans, so I'm going to give you an answer created by the very same humans: God loves everyone and everything unconditionally. That's why he gives a fuck about you, in accordance with the scripture of course. But remember, he only exists if you will him to.
rebuttal tiem!
